This model was built back when the only T.I.E. kit available was MPC’s T.I.E. Interceptor. A friend of mine, Frank Harris obtained a set of resin wings from Lunar Models out of Cleburne, just south of my home in Fort Worth, Texas. I added a few other greeblies, detailed the cockpit, and scored panel lines on the “ball”. The pilot figure, which is grossly inaccurate, was modified to resemble a true Imperial pilot. The guns, engines, and front thrusters are scratch-built. Nice desktop display.
