My first attempt at decals was nothing more than photo copies of top and bottom views of a painted K'tinga, a bit fuzzy. I later drew up my own designs in AutoCAD and applied color in Photoshop using Starship Modeler's reference photos, which turned out very clear, sharp and a lot more accurate. One weekend I ended up designing and building three Klingon cruisers out of cardboard, wood, Polyclay and my custom decal designs printed on card stock. This K'tinga cruiser is the second of three ships. The model measures 6 inches (15.5cm) in length and also has a custom oak display stand. A very nice desktop display piece.
